August 9, 2004 - Santa Monica, CA |
Conspiracy Entertainment (CPYE.OB) today announced that it has received its Playstation 2 Licensed Publisher Agreement from Sony Entertainment Europe. The agreement will allow its newly founded European subsidiary Conspiracy Entertainment Europe to publish its titles on the Playstation 2 platform. Combined with its existing Xbox publishing agreement the company is now capable of publishing for both Microsoft and Sony. "We are very happy to become publishers for Playstation 2 in Europe. Without the Licensed Publisher Agreement we would not be able to publish any titles on the Playstation 2 platform, so this is a really big accomplishment for us" remarked Conspiracy Entertainment Europe CEO Michael Hayward. "We have been working very hard to set up one of the strongest European Distribution Networks, and I am delighted that we are now in a position to begin shipping our excellent PS2 product lineup in time for the busy Christmas period which coincidently is when 80% of our annual revenues will be generated", said Howard Newmark, Conspiracy Entertainment Europe's VP, Publishing.
