'Hidden Invasion' a PlayStation®2 Value
March 12, 2002 - Santa Monica, CA

Conspiracy Entertainment announced the upcoming release of the PS2 3rd person action shooter game, Hidden Invasion. Set in a world of alien invasions and government cover-ups, Hidden Invasion features straightforward "pick up and play" game mechanics and a two-player cooperative mode. The game will also have another attractive feature, a suggested retail price of $29.99. A combination that Conspiracy thinks translates to big value for gamers.

"At $29.99, Hidden Invasion is an inexpensive and smart gaming investment that will return hours and hours of gaming thrills and excitement," says Conspiracy Marketing Director Vince Matthews. "Any gamer, seasoned vet or first-timer, will get right into the game. Plus the simultaneous non-split screen multiplayer mode makes the price point even more appealing." Conspiracy is one of only a few publishers currently launching selected PS2 titles below the standard $49.99 software price point.

In Hidden Invasion, players play alone or cooperatively with a partner as a member of a special operations team sent in to deal with a mysterious alien threat. Along the way, the mystery unravels as enemies become friends and friends become enemies. There are 16 levels, with interactive 3D environments and cinematic camera angles that compliment the high-concept Hollywood storyline.

"I'm a big fan of the two-player mode," says Executive Producer Dan Jevons, "You and your partner just charge in and kick ass. You've got a high-powered arsenal from machine guns to laser cannons, special moves for each character, detailed 3D environments and some really cool boss battles!"

Hidden Invasion was developed by Toka and hits store shelves summer 2002.
